The PDRM Special Dialogue 2024 is being hosted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and The Royal Malaysia Police in conjunction with the 217th Police Day. It is the first of two dialogue sessions that are being held as lead up events to the inaugural Asia International Security Summit & Expo or more commonly known as AISSE. These high level and much anticipated events are being organised by Koperasi Polis Diraja Malaysia Berhad (KPDRM) and Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn. Bhd. (AIS).
The 1st PDRM Dialogue 2024 being held on 11th March 2024 is set to be an event filled with insightful discussions, high level engagements and new collaboration opportunities within the realms of law enforcement and national security with special highlight on cybercrime and narcotics crime. It will comprise an opening ceremony, a dialogue session, a mini exhibition and a networking luncheon.
The PDRM Special Dialogue Session 1 will commence with the welcome speech by and the YDH IG Tan Sri Razarudin Bin Husain, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Malaysia followed by the opening speech by the YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, Ministry of Home Affairs. There will be an MOU Signing session to be witnessed by the Minister of Home Affairs. Other Ministers who will be present to witness the MOUs include YB Tuan Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil, Minister of Communications and YB Datuk TS. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education.
The Minister of Home Affairs and IGP will then proceed for a Press Conference. This will be followed by a tour of the booths at the Mini Exhibition.
The second part of the PDRM Special Dialogue will then commence comprising two vital panel sessions on cybercrime and narcotic crime which are set to delve into deep discussion and deliberation on current critical issues and strategies.
The event further includes an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and services by 12 number of organisations and companies who will be showcasing their expertise and technological solutions specifically in Cybercrime and Narcotics crime.
Attendees totalling 500 will comprise representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Royal Malaysia Police, various public sector departments and agencies, other law enforcement entities, embassies, as well as speakers, panel members, and exhibitors, offering a comprehensive platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration in the pursuit of advancing security measures and public safety.
