KUALA LUMPUR: The Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA'23), which will take place from May 23 to May 27, has achieved its target of 600 exhibitors.
Muhammad Aqlan Pacleb, executive director of Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd which was appointed as co-organiser of LIMA'23, said the area of the exhibition hall has also been increased by 28 per cent and was fully booked.
"Our target of 600 exhibiting companies has been achieved, even though only 480 companies were involved previously," he said when appearing as a guest on TV Al Hijrah's, 'Assalamualaikum' programme today.
He said data from the Transport Ministry also showed that LIMA'23 had 40 per cent commercial involvement in the entire exhibition.
Meanwhile, Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Air Operations Commander Lieutenant-General Datuk Mohd Shahada Ismail said through LIMA'23, RMAF will invite 45 air force commanders to discuss various issues, including regional security, through the Air Chiefs Conference.
Apart from that, Shahada said this 16th edition of the exhibition will also feature four international aerobatic teams: the Jupiter team from the Indonesian Air Force, August 1st (Air Force of the People's Republic of China), Russian Knights (Russian Air Force) and Black Eagles (Republic of South Korea Air Force).
